During Central Vacuum installation, the power unit is located away from the point of cleaning, usually in a garage or utility room, and is connected to the wall inlets via 50mm round ducting.

The units have up to 50% more suction than standard portable vacuums, while still conforming with EU directives on power consumption.

Central Vacuums are easy to maintain as the large waste bin only needs emptied 2-3 times per year, and it is recommended that the central vacuum filter only needs to be replaced every 5-6 years.
